saw the p4/5 today on 287 what a amazing car
LONG TIME ! Jon, give me a call to catch up.. Saw this beautiful mint charger on Friday (29th and 3rd in Manhattan): Image Unavailable, Please Login
My friends live in Staten Island and told me about the F40. WOW !! They said it was for sale too. Let me tell you though, what a miserable place to own such a car. The roads, all the roads are horrendous !!!! And the traffic......and all the lights.. That poor car never gets a chance to s-t-r-e-t-c-h its legs. Hopefully the owner gets to enjoy her on other roads..
Haven't had time to post in a while Last Tuesday Black Ferrari 360 convertible in the pouring rain on bleecker and lafayette around 630. I nearly ran right into the car getting off the 6. Gray Maserati Gransport Spyder on Park near 22nd 11:00 that night in a public parking garage all parked in the front: Red Ferrari 360 convertible Gray Maserati Gransport Coupe A Porsche under a cover (my guess a Turbo) Some sort of classic 60s British sports car, maybe a MG or a Triumph under a really tatty cover with an old, yellow NY license plate. I wonder if it ever gets driven I think there were some other notable cars (including another Ferrari) but it was over a week ago and I can't remember
TONS of cars today: Staten Island Expressway Bentley Arnage in Silver Dodge Viper SRT-10 in Black Cross Island Expressway Lotus Elise in Black Bentley GTC in Baby Blue Northern State Parkway Ferrari 612 in Maroon Ferrari 360 Spyder in Blue Others Ferrari 360 Spyder in Silver on NJ Turnpike Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in Black on I-95 South Maserati Gran Turismo in White in Westbury off Post Ave Ferrari 360 Spyder in Red in the Bronx on Westchester Ave
I was driving on Hylan Blvd close to where it was spotted. It was obviously a kit. The thing that was really funny was that it was parked on a side street with a standard "for sale" sign on the dash. Can you imagine trying to sell a real F-40 with a sign in the window? But it made me slow down and notice a new Camaro on the next block. That was my 1st sighting of that car. Pretty cool looking car. Not the exotic type I like, but amazing none the less.
Thats what my friend said that it had a for sale sign. I said, "An F40 with a for sale sign?, There is something wrong there" Hence, now I know why = kit car. LOL. Sure, lets sell the 500k Ferrari Icon on Hylan blvd. LOLOLOL.
