    I am considering replacing the entire stock igntion system on my 82 308, what would you reccommend as a replacement system?

    +1. Plus it is programmable and can do all sorts of fun things depending on the model you get and Nick is a great guy and VERY helpful when i had questions.

    +2 - I have the same system from Nick and it works without any problems. I even have a Rev Limiter set which the car doesn't have when stock. Can't blow my engine no matter how hard I try :)!

    I recently installed BSM's unit and like it loads. It's not as sophisticated as the Electromotive, but the installation is relatively simple (and clean), PLUS it does a good job of maintaining a stock appearance underneath the hood.

    I suspect you'll end up with something along the lines of a 50/50 preference between Electromotive/BSM. Ultimately, you'll have to decide which one suits your preferences best .. they are both very good solutions and they are both a big improvement over twin distributors and points.
