    This thread is late, as is usually the case with my introductory threads… but here goes. This is my new (for me) 1999 355F1 Spider. The 1995 F355 berlinetta has a sister! I love the color. Such a rare combination! I wonder if another 355 was ever built in this combination.

    Statistics:

    -Grigio Titanio exterior over beige interior
    -12K miles
    -May 1999 production
    -116252
    -All original books, spare key, alarm code envelope, three remotes (1 red, 2 black), original cover for boot, etc., etc. The originality of this car is exceptional!
    -California 2-owner car
    -no paint work anywhere to speak of!

    Let’s see… I’ve crossed the following items off my to-do list since taking ownership a month ago:

    -undergo complete major (engine-out) service with timing belts, cam seals, etc.
    -utilize Hill Engineering cambelt tensioner bearings (thank you Daniel from title sponsor Ricambi America, the best in Ferrari parts and customer service)
    -install new clutch; install improved Hill Engineering F1 clutch bearing
    -install aftermarket exhaust manifolds, wrap them in Summit Racing heat shield material
    -install aftermarket catalytic converters, wrap them in heat shield material
    -replace axle boots with new set; beef up their heat shielding
    -install new motor mounts, protect them with heat shielding
    -fabricate heat shield for alternator

    Last item I need to complete is removal of the sticky parts&#8230; they will soon be going to Robbie of <www.stickynomore.com>.

    Enjoy the photos! My review to follow. I have some comments to make about this F1 system on the 355, over which there is a great deal of controversy.

    WOW!!!!! you are sooo lucky!!! yeah sure it's a nice clean late model F1, ultra rare color combo.....but the REAL impressive part? you got 3 key fobs!!! for my next Ferrari that's going higher on the requirement list :D

    the best of both world and what a great predicament to be in; should I drive the red one or the Grigio Titanio, top down or top up, 6spd or f1?
