Still waiting on the Voltage regulator. With any luck I'll have it tomorrow making me VERY happy. Then again, that requires luck. I'll be there Sunday but not yet sure what I'm bringing.

Another great day without my baby. You guys are wonderful freinds. I really appreciate how you consistently remind me oof my woe's. At least Joe knows what its like to be without, although his backup is pretty dam sweet.

Seemed like it was 308 day. 4 including Paul spotless fiberglass GTB. 1800 miles on it with original everything. including the shipping plastic over the door panels. What a sweety.

We had a passerby visitor in a Shelby GT 500 KR. About as exotic as American Muscle gets. I'll really starting to like those retro mustangs. They are cute if nothing else and this one was also mean. Factory blower helps to create 540 HP. Ohh my...

And Jess... It was wonderful to see you again. You've been away to long and we've missed you. Welcome back to your Sunday home.

Those who are hitting Limerock next weekend should visit this site on Thursday to figure out the plan. I am familiar with some backroads that can bypass most, if not all, traffic issues. We will probably hook up in or near Bristol for the ride in.

Also keep in mind the following weekend is Ferrari club days at the rock. A deffinate CAN'T MISS adventure.

Nice! Glad to hear you are up in running. Nothing is ever easy on these cars is it? What should have been a couple hour job always turns into "then I heard it snap" and its off to the welder for a repair. At least you did it and did not pay someone $5K for service only to realize they cracked your oil pan. ;)

+1 See you at Limerock Lane! Glad to hear it worked out. You should tell the Denso guy to keep some extras around for..... The Gathering. I'm sure I will need one next. I broke my drivers door lock last Sunday, time to take off the strakes and fix it.

OK...its Limerock convoy planning time. Mike is there, Jay is going up both Friday and (maybe) Saturday, I planning on Saturday but the weather has something to say about it. I guess we cant get specific yet. I may go up in the Audi with the canopy. Rain racing is beyond cool if you can stay dry. The new(ish) chicane going in to the climbing turn promises some real action if its wet. I pretty jazzed already.

    Who else is
    A) going no matter what
    B) depends on the weather
    C) making the last minute decision.

Where can we all hook up? I could bring the Yukon if you want to ride together.

Assume you're talking about ALMS this weekend? I have a weekend ticket but probably have to work tomorrow. Definitely going up on Saturday, taking the 400i from Fairfield County, departing probably 6:30 to arrive at track by 8.

OK...the weather picture has changed. Looks like the bad weather will be overnight leaving a great day for racing tomorrow. Lets work this out.

John...Rte 7 is a wonderful ride. Enjoy it. Not yet sure what car I'm bringing but I 'll wear my White Ricambi hat. Hope to meet you there.

That would be the smart thing to do....I'm not that smart. My schedule is dependant on my Son. Not sure what time I'll be arriving. I'll post before I leave and check again before I drop the signal. (blackberry's are cool) Lets ay 11:00 at driving impressions (paddock entrance gift shop) but dont waste a lot of time waiting for me.

Just like clockwork Lane (St. Bastage) showed up in front of Driving Impressions at 11 this morning and took me over to the spot where he, Jason (Jay, aka UCONN Husky) Mike (MJ Duell) and his family and Jess (Dr. Jess) were set up to watch over the action in the esses.

What a great day for racing it turned out to be and what a great group of Ferrari fans from CT to meet! We had a few laughs and enjoyed the intense racing with the only Ferrari in the event as it held its own against the Flying Lizard Porsches (those cars are set up great and they have some good drivers).

Thanks everyone for your hospitality and I mean it when I say that I WILL make it to SB one of these Sunday mornings!

    John

PS The new chicanes at Lime Rock are great viewing spots, both to see some intense racing action and for photos. You are so close you can smell the rubber and the exhaust as the cars bring their speeds down to second gear and then stand on it to get going again. Awesome!
