Breaking News!!!!! Easdown has been exonerated by the court and the California has been returned to Ateco. Apparently, when aked by the police why he was doing 231Kph, the journo explained - "last week my wife ran off with a copper and when I saw you chasing me, I thought he was trying to give her back" The magistrate agreed - justifiable speeding
Both Police officers are in therapy as the pursuit only lasted a few seconds and they didnt get to use their tazers
lol. That brings back a funny memory. When I first came here I struggled with pronoucing some place names as many Aussies do when travelling to NZ. (Whangarei and Whakapapa is a good example, for those who don't know "wha" is pronounced as "Fa' in Maori) Anyway I did the Melb/Syd/Melb trip many times. When asked where I stopped i said "gun" "dar" "gee". No one knew where it was. I said Dog on the Tucker Box" and they said oh you mean Gundagai. I guess you had to be there.
Interesting slant on the story. http://www.examiner.com/x-9044-Exotic-Car-Examiner~y2009m7d13-Caught-in-the-Act-Half-the-Ferrari-California-models-in-Australia-have-been-impounded-by-Police

Know how you feel - spent ages in a French railway station trying to find out which train to get to "Mull house" to see the Schlumpf collection. Eventually got to "Moo-lose" and had a great time!
