First picture makes me think, "tax evasion" :)
I saw a silver/mocha Carrera GT, a Maserati QP (can't remember the color) parked in the East Bank Club parking lot. There's usually a lot of nice cars in the lot including Porsche 997 Turbos, 430 spiders, Aston Martin Vantage V8s etc. I also saw a Black/black SL black series coupe. It was parked in front of the blockbusters on Madison x Morgan in the West Loop.
Ferrari 430 Scuderia black/grey stripe. Turning east on Dundee from sanders in Northbrook at 5:45. Second gear sounded almost as good as an F1 car. Almost.
I saw a 62 a few years ago in the Motorwerks lot with Florida plates on it as well. Wonder if it's the same one..
I saw a black F430 spider outside bentley gold coast and a cream color convertible V8 vantage on chicago and rush. Saturday
Dan, I did a little bit of research, and found that Alpina has nothing to do with the car, its a joint venture between "Automobili Lamborghini SpA and Alpine Car Audio". Here is a link with some info... http://www.lambocars.com/archive/diablo/alpine.htm Also, have any more pics of it?
Whoops, I meant Alpine. I do have more pics. Now whether I feel like finding them and editing them, well that's a different story. ... when I get some spare time I'll post.
One of my spotters saw this Chicago F-chat guy slumming in my area last week... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awesome spot in Glenview around 6:45. It was a black Lamborghini Diablo Roadster! I've only seen one before in California, these roadsters are super rare. On top of that, it had black Forigato rims. Ron, I blame you. Was this thing at your shop? Such an insane car!
Very, not sure about the production numbers but my friend told me there are well under 100 in the US.
