    What does WIP stand for?

Also, I am thinking of building a model. It seems like these models will be much harder than my RC. For a starter, what are some of necessary things to buy besides the kit?
I've previously bought models but this looks fun. :)
    Thanks!

Work in progress. Start with something easy, cheap. Revell Enzo, 599,430 all cheap, easy to build.

as far as the scale goes, is it extremely difficult to assembly/work with if I go with 1/24 model?
    thanks!

No, i would say that its the best scale to start with. I know someone has also said start with a cheap Revell kit but i would personally spend a bit more and get a Tamiya kit. You then will not have any worries about the fit of the pieces and you can enjoy building it more, thats what i did :)

    Nice

Nice work, Latsyrc, at least one of us is getting something accomplished.

Actually I've put building on hold to learn resin casting. So far so good!

Wow looks nice! Is it just me or the headlight lense seems to be a little bit "fogged" up?

They didn't have any revell kits that I liked and I picked one up for 27 dollars, which I thought it was pretty cheap. I am buying more paints, putty, etc. to get myself started today (or tomorrow depending on time).

I got Raybrig NSX (purple NSX). I bought most of the paint but they are out of primer...
Do you guys put primer on every single part before painting?
    Thanks

Cool. I don't prime every part but certainly most of them. You will at least need to do the body obviously :)

Yeah. I wasn't able to get a hold of ANY tamiya adhesives, primer, etc.
    Brush Primer White http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=87096
    Spray PRimer White http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=87044
Glue for clear parts and body (everything!) http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=87038

I am guessing those are right products but I don't know...Can anyone confirm this? Also, I'd really appreciate if there's alternative solution.

I bought Model Master's clear part cement and putty (from Testors). Anyone used this before?

I just use bog standard Revell poly cement to stick it together or normal superglue for metal. Any primer should do as long as you test it does not react with the top coat before you do the whole thing.

Alright. I don't even know if I am supposed to spend this much time looking for adhesives lol
I just can't afford to do poor job on my first model! :p

Get the spray primer, unless you have a airbrush.

Looking great, I'm not sure I'm coordinated enough to do 1:43. :)

Very nice looking, Rob. I'm planning on doing a flat-black w/orange 430 or Scud one of these days, sort of like the GT3's. I finished my F40 last week and it turned out pretty good. I had some issues with the decals on the rear wing, so it's missing...as well as parts of the Beila decals on the side of it. Below is a finished pic, I'll post some WIP pics a bit later.

My wife wanted to build one so we ended up getting a couple Mini's to build together. :) Afterwords, I'll either do the F430 or jump into a 1:12.

Hi GTE, yes I'm from Portugal :)

zoRob your Fujimi Scuderia looks fantastic, I would like to build one Scuderia but in 1/43, maybe the Tecnomodel kit.
