I went as a guest of the guy in charge of member sales at the "club at lime rock park". My buddy and I went and I parked on the grass in front of the infield chalet between a yellow 360 spider and a red 599. I first parked in the V lot near a challenge stradale and 360 black coupe but then told to move my car. I enjoyed some nice hospitality (fed and watered), hung out a little with Skip Barber and went via golf cart with him to check out all the new spectator areas. It was a fantastic time. They are trying to sell memberships to the club and are working on a project called Silo Ridge. There was like a time share pitch you had sit through to enjoy the perks ;) but it was worth it.

It is quiet here currently. I am going to go grab breakfast and come back.
By quiet I mean nobody is here:)

The weather is still pretty ugly on the shore today. Sure glad we made the trip to Lime Rock yesterday.

Roads are still wet here in the Springfield area. And still some dark gray clouds moving through. Looks like it should break at some point, so I'll decide in the next half hour.
Just getting off a weeks vacation and managed to put over 800 miles on each of the Fcars in the last 12 days.

Low turn out due to weather. 3 Ferrari's (All Black), 1 Alpha, 1 Camaro, 1 (incredibly clean) Merc. 6 rain drops hit my car and the parking lot was empty before I turned around. OMG...Like cockroaches. I guess I'm the stupid one, Now I have some cleaning to do.

Bajapat showed up just as everyone left and Dave stayed with the loaner Audi. Sun came out 15 minutes later.

    See ya next week gents

I'm leaning towards skipping Tutto, not a whole lot of fun walking around a car show in the rain...so might be in Glastonbury in the morn.

    Hi All,

I can't make it to G'Bury tomorrow. I'll be attending my nephew's wedding on Long Island.

I'm starting to think about AVF Gathering II.
Labor Day weekend is LRP vintage fest.
Saturday, September 12th is Fairfield County

How is Sunday, September 13th ??? Five weeks earlier than last year's AVF Gathering I. May be warmer?
Perhaps you can take an informal pole tomorrow and advise the viability for this date.
I'm still working on obtaining some golf carts for our golf cart polo match.

    Regards
    - Ed -

I will not be able to make it to G-bury today either (family commitments).

Ed, September 13th would work for me (been looking forward to it all summer). You'll have to let us know what we can bring this year to help you out.

    Ed,
9/13 sounds good to me, but only if you let us contribute to the feast. Also, if need be, I'm sure some of us could arrive a little early to help set up.
We had a small gathering in G'bury today and I honestly forgot to bring it up, but last year was a great time and I'm sure there will be plenty of interest.

Lane brought it up before you arrived, Phil. Sept. 13th was good for everyone there.

Just when we thought it would be a quiet little meet waiting for rain...Falcon outdoes himself yet again! What will he show up with next?? Thanks, that bike was classic and fun to ride!

Ed - sounds like a plan, Sept. 13! With the way this lousy summer has been you might as well plan a rain date right from the start...

Sounds good Ed, I'd love to ''horse'' around with you guys on the 13th. Look forward to ''hoofing'' up there in a tandem ride. I don't mean to ''nag'' but are wives invited or is this strickly a ''stallions'' only event? Let me know what I can bring before I ''saddle'' up. Hope you can ''gallop'' down to Glastonbury between now and 9/13. See U soon.
