What's with our summer's???

I was just talking to a good friend who is doing the Helicopter school and i guess they were talking in class about how scientist's are monitoring animal behavior and by the looks of it, its going to be one long cold winter! Anyone else excited?

 

Ostie!!!! It's been a cold wet summer in these parts!

Heck, my car's been in the shop for almost three weeks now. I don't miss it...and I am in no hurry to get it.

So far it has been a dissapointing summer. For every day of sunshine it seems we get 4 or 5 days of rain or overcast skies

Agreed. We needed it though after the relatively tough winter.

 

Really??? Like really??? I think we are living in two different universe's because you are the first person i have came in contact with this year from Toronto that has said you are loving this summer! Kudo's to you tho... I wish i had the same feelings.

 

It's not so much the temperature that bothers me this year than it is the constant pissing of rain/overcast skies.

 

The temp is fine with me, but the rain EVERY DAY SUCKS. Can't keep the car clean more than a few hours!

 

Another **** weekend

 

Indeed. It also makes it difficult to do any outside work around the house.

 

Okay. This weekend sucked with the all-day spot showers. But, honestly, I enjoy the cooler temperatures.

 

Another sh$t day so I spent all day in my garage polishing my car to get it cleaned up.................................FOR NEXT SUMMER!

So far it has been a disappointing summer. Seems like it is getting worse and worse every year ! Not to mention the fact that i am hearing thunderstorms as I am writing up this post

 

Someone said it was the soccer mom's SUVs emitting CO2 into the air making the oceans to rise up and kill the global warms or something like that. And if we all bought hybrids, the oceans would go back down again. Personally, I think the sun is out of control and mad because the humans are all killing each other and not kind like they used to be. I think. Yes I do.

And if we all had a KERS in our car we could go really fast for 6 seconds. Yes I do.

 

Not sure what you are talking about. It´s fine where I am. 30 plus the last couple of days , sunny skies and dry dry heat

 

Tired of reading books INSIDE all summer!

The weather will certainly postpone many "major services" for another year since zero miles are be accummulated on these cars.

This summer has been brutal. I just got back from the Bahamas last night... we took off in one of the nicest days I've seen, and landed in Toronto while it was raining... how typical. This weather is truly depressing.

 

Come on guys, today was simply sublime! I'm out on the deck right now. Chicken on the bbq, birds singing, sun peeking through the trees, little humidity. Just perfect!

I just read today that the rest of summer will be the same as what we have already gotten...when asked when we can expect summer to actually begin, the meteorologist was quoted as saying "next summer"

 

Blech. It rained like crap in Burlington just as I was trying to enjoy a Cohiba.

This sucks like a Hoover.
