My 1980 308 is due for its Major service (27k miles). I am in Burtonsville area and want opinions on who would be the best all around in terms of quality, price, and delivery for my car. I don't have a problem taking it into Virginia to get done either. Seems like I remember a few places opening up shop in the past few years locally...

    Thanks in advance.

My God, you could practically walk to Competizione! There is no other place than there. Close your eyes and think "Competizione", "Competizione"

Yeah man! My favorite childhood cars growing up were the 308 red/tan Ferrari and The Countach. Then in the early 80's Ferrari came out with the 288GTO! I don't have one of them but would love to have one of them and ......???

I will put up a couple couple of pics of my cars but you can look around on this sight and find a few more from local events I have attended. I should get out with them more often but time is limited although I did take the Countach out for a drive a little while ago. Its a beast!!!

The one in motion is from today...

Hey LS, I ran the beast up through your old stomping grounds this afternoon!

BOBBY355- Yes that is the special order CL65 and fast as He**! 12 cylinder twin turbo... 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and 604 horsepower with 738 lbs of torque! Nothing on the road next to me has been able to even come close to keeping up with it. My buddies Z06 did fairly well but still lost in a matter of a few seconds. It truely is the worlds fastest production 4 seat car!

    Thanks!

Well... Not sure if you remember or not but Lash gave me your number a long time ago and I consulted with you on a few different occasions while looking for the right car to buy. I want to say thanks again for you taking the time to talk to me during that time. You were VERY helpful and so was Lashdeep! Not everyone would just talk to some stranger for an hour at a time on the phone with all the Newbie questions I had. I never did get to see The DD you guys had. I halfway regret spending a few extra bucks back then and getting one myself. Live and learn...

I think you may have your Steves mixed up. Go Mifune on here had a black DD Countach. And I think your referring to the joint venture he had with deep on another black DD. He now has the purple SE dolphin car.

Ken, you have SGM... confused with another. "Gomifune" is the Steve you spoke to years ago about Countach tips.

We need to get you out more often! Are you in town much or still traveling?

LOL "Bacteria" He used to be referrred to as Mr. Fungi

Seeriously, ask Richard to change out the rubber hoses, esp. the fuel line.

Creampuff and LS can tell you about a 308 barbecue outing on the B&W Parkway.

Would love to see your Lambo at the Holy Donut church someday (Rte 198 & 29)
