Nice shots. Any more pics of the 993? Is it the bronze Targa with the GT2 bodykit I've seen around before?
Just came across these pics today. The new MB SLS AMG, due to be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Not sure I like it. No distinctive features and ugly back end? Anybody else seen anything on this? PAUL Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am guessing no because there is no place to mount the third brake light in a 993 targa. I do know which targa you are talking about though. Btw, thanks guys for all the spotting pics - very entertaining. Been lurking for a while and keep coming back to these threads for updates with interest. I am amazed how you guys manage to capture some of these! Cheers.
MB are very up and down for me with their styling. In recent years I have loved everything they've done, but I agree with you Paul. The styling is definatley fussy on this one, fussy yet bland. I don't know why at no point in the design process nobody mentioned the fact the front end looks very GTR-ish, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but on a car that is trying to hark back to the beautiful 300SL it's a little hard to accept (almost as sacreligious as covering an original 300SL in camoflague decals for the sake of fashion :cough: :cough: ). It's not ugly, but I think they could've done better. If anything I think I'd rather they'd gone in this direction http://www.mandrews.exclusivestm.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/06/gull1.jpeg More pics of the actual car here... http://forums.finalgear.com/automotive-news/mercedes-sls-gullwing-images-leaked-37507/

Sounds like an average day out on the HK roads. CLK Black and the California are great sightings though! No pics for us?
I've only got a few pics because the California was on a far away bridge, the CLK Black was on my opposite side on the Island Eastern Corridor. Most of the cars I saw was on Gloucester Rd and the shutter on my camera isn't fast enough.
