Marc is the only one with current racing experience..... Carol from F1 live Ferrari reserve driver Marc Gene, who last month won the Le Mans 24 Hours with Peugeot, is said to be more likely than his testing colleague Luca Badoer for Massa's seat. The 35-year-old has refused to comment on the matter, and in his regular column for the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the veteran of 36 Grand Prix wrote regarding Massa: "We would even wish that he could be in Valencia, but if he is not, the important thing is that he is well. "I understand that many people want to know what is in the future but right now the only thing that occupies me is my friend," the Spaniard added. However there remains a Ferrari cockpit to fill, and it seems that Gene is scheduled to straight-line test the F60 at the Vairano circuit on Wednesday.
Marc Gene will I think drive in Valencia alongside....Felipe, back in shape and the Spaniard will be replacing...Raikkonen for a few races after ice boy wraps himself around a tree this weekend in Rally Finland (100mph plus all day long on dirt roads with jumps between trees)....not an impossible scenario as he has crashed in the little league rallies he has done this far...mark Webber actually commented on how brave Kimi was to do this, probably the most dangerous rally there is out there. Just my 2 centimes.
I don't think it was ridiculous. Personally I thought the chances of getting Alonso are better than MS. And Alonso might still come for 2010. At least I hope so.
Ice boy just crashed and rolled out of the Finnish rally as I expected...but no tree in his path thankfully so it will be Michael and him after all in Valencia...
JoeZaff, having regretted passing on the opportunity to race for USF1, will step in to replace Massa for the rest of the season. I don't understand how you guys missed that! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=250863 . No offense to all the other wannabees of course.
