...doesn't it? Looking at the press pictures of the Ferrari 458, I thought this is so bright red, let's play with the hue/saturation a bit So I made some traditional and current Ferrari colors, of course it's impossible to get these all matched 100%, but they give a nice indication how this 458 will look in any combination. I personally really like Giallo, all the red lights match great with it. What do you think? You're right: A good design does look good in any color! It's like a good song played acoustically. Works well however way you produce it... Interestingly, I even like the green and the light/gulf blue, not typically my favorite colors on a Ferrari. The options for this car are really limitless given its lines. BIG thanks for posting these!
Fantastic Job on the P-Shops. Should become a sticky because it will be viewed that much. Looks great in most of the colors. Especially the darker blue and Blue/silver. Robb
Great work, thanks for posting! Very helpful, if you're undecided which colour to get. But anyway, this car looks good in almost every colour.
Thanks guys Giallo Solare, some classic Ferrari's have it, though I'm not totally spot on matching it. Not a big fan of green and brown either, bit of an old people color really But that said I tried Marrone (red/brownish, attached to this post). With the light/gulf blue I tried to match Azzurro California, since it shares some design features I thought it would suit well (and it does!) I would like to see it in orange and lime green, see how it stacks up to the lambos. And you are right it does look good in any color, love it.
I'm Dutch, so I'll love it in orange! it's a bit too shouty and Lambo though Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL! It's funny, I never really like rear 3/4 rear shots of cars but this one has a beautiful booty, doesn't it?! Very technical, like the Enzo with its vents and venturis and diffusers, yet still elegant. The Marrone Rosso color really grabs the heart here -- That's a beautiful vintage shade with all kinds of history. I'd love to see a few different blues and silvers and reds with black/charcoal wheels. That's a popular combo now and I'm sure it'll up the outrageousness nicely!
The lighter colours really show off the complex surfacing - particularly on the side profile which looks awesome! Dark colours like black just seem to wash out the details and make the car look less sophisticated.
I searched on google images for Pozzi Blu and it came up with so many different shades. In the sun it's kind of blu'ish but when the sunlight is gone it's very dark, I like it. Anyway I think you wanted the dark shade when it's out of the sun as in this studio image, based it on this 575. Here you go Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
