Valvoine has a program that guarantees your engine life up to 300,000 miles if you use Valvoline oil for your oil changes every 3,000 miles (give or take 1000 miles) and register your cars on the Valvoline website. Anyone consider enrolling their Ferrari's in this program? Thanks.

HA! If Valvoline Corporate found-out that they had to replace a $60,000 Ferrari engine, they'd hire a lawyer to look for loopholes in their 'guarantee' LONG before they wrote a check. Don't be so naive - corporate integrity no longer exists in America.

Kenny- My 575M uses Valvoline in everything except the engine right now and I am considering changing that too, this year. My transaxle runs their all synthetic 75W-90 GL5 transmission oil and my steering has valvoline synthetic automatic transmission fluid. Valvoline's 5W-40 synthetic motor oil will work well on your 360 and is more readily available and somewhat cheaper than the Quaker State Q we in the US call the Shell high priced stuff with the Cavallinos on the containers.

I would think there'd be a huge burden of proof...

Ferrari engines rarely fail due to the OIL, they blow up for a million OTHER reasons....LOL!

    IMO.........

I doubt if they'll ever have to pay out for an engine. If anything, they'll get their technician out there and come up with some reason the nuked engine doesn't qualify for their replacement guarantee... its all marketing to get people to purchase their product for the next 30 years until their 'guarantee' expires.

    Meh.

I think I already found the loophole - you probably have to use Valvoline right out of the factory, but since Ferrari uses Shell-Helix (or whatever) then they will say that you did not use Valvoline for every single mile on the engine.
