Aussie Ferrari Spotters Thread??

Heavily.. look at 599's still advertised for nearly $700K! talk about huge freefall to today's street prices in such a short time.. Hope no-one paid over MSRP for their 599 on release.. be even worse than already horrible.

 

Not sure how many pay over MSRP here in Aus, but the Yanks are REALLY notorious for doing it!!

When I was in the US back in 07, talked to some Fchatters there and one had a friend that paid US $450K for a 599. That was around US $200K over MSRP!!!!

That was the 'worst' one, but I heard many many other stories like that when I was there.

 

They are truly crazy to want latest shiny thing on the block before others to pay such crazy stuff.. a truly excessive indulgence for sure.. Just be patient.. there's so many other good things to do with the $ in the meantime and the car will fall into your hands in the end if you want it at better price..

 

The guys that can do that are in a league of their own!!!

 

if you're worth mega millions, who cares? if you want one and that's what it costs, big deal.

Speaking of 599's. I just watched the Clarkson 599 vid again.

599 on the Monash heading SE. Seen this a couple of times now. Possibly a daily driver. Have to say didn't really stand out. Saw a red car so looked.

A boring work trip to Sydney on wednesday had a fleeting highlight as the taxi swung past the Ferrari dealers at the top of the cross. Lots of lovely cars on display....hope they start moving some now that we are being told the WWFM is over!!

Also saw a red 360 spider with the plates [GAMES1] and it had the Greek flag on it(2004 Olympics). I seen these plates b4, I guess they were some special one off.

 

these will have to do for now,and three letters still looks good.....

I saw one of those drive day groups today. They had a M3, gunmetal F430 Spider, Bentley GTC, mini cooper s and some other OHOS I can't remember now.
