    Hi guys,

    Still not bottomed out why the boot (luggage compartment) isn't opening via the solenoid;

    1) Fuse is OK (I'm assuming there is only one).
    2) A bit crude, but rigged up power to the solenoid directly using the some bridging wire from the luggage compartment light. That clicked, so I guess OK.

    So, now it's either a broken wire or it's the switch in the car itself (the one that is in a bank of 4, to activate roof, petrol filler cap etc.).

    Can anyone advise who to get the switch out without damaging? I assume it's just levered out with a flat scredriver, but appreciate some advice before I break anything!

    Thanks,

    Dem.
    :)

    It just prys out. Use a rivet, bend a 90 degree angle in it and grind the end flat, and it will just tuck underneath the edge of the switch nicely, without scratching anything. Ease it out one end at a time.
