    looking at maybe adding a 1986 328 w/ 52k miles to the stable. Red/tan, major done two years ago. 2nd owner, all books, tools, and gear.

    i haven't seen the car in person. claimed in "nice" condition from an estate. thoughts on values please...... rough, clean, and cherry number would be appreciated.

    Rough high 20s, decent high 30s, really nice maybe 45. Check -all- the electrical works, some of the switchwork is no longer available. Fog lamps are completely unobtainable, so take a good look at them.

    The mileage (sadly) hurts it.

    There's a similar car ('86 red/tan) for sale at Bobileff in San Diego, asking $41K. I believe it has 55K miles or so, very well serviced, cosmetically above average - belongs to FChat'er jwtfjwtf.

    Very good to cherry, 30K miles<, fully known ownership history, all orig. service records on paper, nothing missing: $50K low end.
