Am I stupid?? Refueling question....

LOL ,,, it's the Ferrari version of a "G" metre ....... the sender is in the left. When you have a low fuel load the fun is seeing if a you can make the little yellow light come on during a hard left hand curve.

 

Also, it's been known to happen if your car is really hot from a long drive that the tanks heat up and can essentially boil over in a sense. The gas has a harder time going from tank to tank because of pressure. I had this happen on my drive back from the east coast. I was lucky not to catch fire! Let the car cool down and go slow with the fill up. I'm sure the old hoses didn't help either!!!!
