How to diagnose Check Engine Light issue on F355?

    Is there a device that I can buy to check the codes for when my check engine light comes on with my F355 5.2? It might save me a trip to the mechanic? thanks.

    Yes, any common OBDII code scanner will work. As long as your car has had the update/campaign performed to the OBDII port. You would need to give your VIN to the dealer to check...but the fix is free. Then any scanner will work fine. If it has not been performed, the scanner may not work.

    Hopefully I won't ever need one...or at least not for a very long time, but just for my info, I believe the 94 348 spiders use ODBI. Can someone confirm this?
