Scuderia grill is perfect in my eyes. It's the perfect blend of aggressive as well as beauty, really makes the F430 standout compared to the standard F430 grill. I think I'll take the scud

the 16M is just a diff animal compared to the rest of the 430 line. IMO it's awesomeness makes it on par if not just a tiny hair better then the currently offered 458.

Since you (OP) like the Novitec trim, I threw together a very quick and quite sloppy 'shop job of what the 458 in Novitec trim might look like:

I would take the 458. I've never really liked the look of any kind of 430, mainly because the front of it just looked too goofy for me. Like they said on Top Gear, it's too understated of a look for a supercar. To me the 458 looks much more exotic and serious looking. And if it was white with black wheels and black top, it would be hands down. Plus, the Novitec 430 Scud convertible is already modified; there is no telling how much more the 458 has in it.

    458 Italia easy...

The 360/430 already looks dated and not in a good way like a 328

Can't believe that Scuderia is starting to look so dated in just one day!

458 has no match. There is one flaw though. The 996 + Enzo headlights.

Are the fenders and front bumper all one piece on the Italia?

Im surprised you all even have to think! the 458 has that fugly rear, stupid 3 pipes and the shape goes wong from the rear side window. The christmas lights on the front arent even funny. The ugly duckling IMO.
Things i do admire are the side profile and amazing performance and tech but then thats about it. Dont even want to talk about the haonda interior.

Not a fair comparison at all... How can you compare a Ferrari with a Novitec kit, and the other without? While one's spider and the other is a coupe...

    458 Italia without any hesitation...

    458 for sure!

F430 look kind of Japanese and dated now.

Those scud wheels are ghastly. I don't think I have seen much come from Novitec that I thought was tasteful. If you are going to compare, at least compare apples to apples. Not apples to bad apples.

First of all, the Scuderia looks MUCH better than the new 458 Italia imo. This, like the California, doesn't even look like a ferrari anymore. From the front, at least, it looks like it was designed by a 12 year old ! The headlights, the leds, those stupid "uuu, look at me, I'm angry!" eyebrows -probably meant to impress other teenagers, and not to mention those wierd catfish-like wiskers, all of them are just WRONG (and awfull). The rear end is not that bad though. Actually, I kind of like it ! I mean, you can tell it's a ferrari from a mile away. Like the overall shape of the car too, very neat and clean. Altough, the lack of side air intakes is not what you'd expect from a supercar. Supercars are supposed to have those things by default, right ?

That said, I think the 458 Italia is one hell of a car (like most car reviewers have already noticed), very high tech and stuff, but the design, especially that of the front, is just not my taste. I think they tried way to much to copy Lambo's agressivenes. But Ferrari's are supposed to be stylish and elegant, not agressive. And that's why I don't like it.

Anyway, this is how a mid-engined Ferrari should look like ! Classy, not over the top, stunnigly beautifull design. Sadly, the 458 Italia is neither of those. It's just too agressive. But hopefully it will grow on me when I see it in action :)
