You better hurry, it might even be too late - the Senate is pretty much set to put an end to it.

You can use this - and select more than one replacement car to see what works and what doesn't...

I just got an English car magazine called Auto Italia and I notice they have ads for a clunker deal in the UK as well.

I had my 1998 caravan sport traded in and picked up a Honda CR-V 4WD on Friday. I'm loving the new car. I never new SUV's could be this much fun around corners!

I have a funny feeling they're going to end up getting bent over without K-Y and it's going to get even uglier for BO and his admin.

i like the new prius and the new Mazda 3speed. I really want to get the new VW golf but that wont be out for a while. The consumer in me wants this program to be extended. The taxpayer in me wants it shut down ASAP!

No tax credit on the Prius any more. Nothing from Toyota qualifies for any part of the $3,400 hybrid tax credit any more (that includes Lexus). Looks like Ford Fusion Hybrid may be your best bet if you want to take advantage of the $3,400.00 tax credit for Hybrids.

To the O.P. it will be interesting to see what this program does for resale values of cars that qualify for the C.A.R.S. program. Will they be worth $4,500 less when it comes resale time? That is a question for the ages, but I am going to go out on a limb here and say that you would be lucky to get what you paid for the car after you bought it under the C.A.R.S. program. Don't you think that the folks out there may have heard about this program and taken advantage of it themselves. That plus they say that a car looses somewhere around 30% of it's value when you drive it off the lot.

I am sure tow truck operators have hated the cash for clunkers. I am sure a lot of owners of older Range Rusters ( 2008 and older) have cashed them in. Less in the wild for the tow truck drivers to haul off.
