Hello all, I have seen where there are some areas on the plenums of my 348 where the silver krinkle paint has flaked off. It is mainly around the throttle valve bodies. Someone probably used carb cleaner on them at some point and lifted the paint. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a krinkle paint to repair this? Thanks!

Your options are to have it powder coated (expensive) or use VHT wrinkle paint, available at your local autmotive parts store/ performance shop.
I have used it on intake plenums, cam covers, ect with excellent results.
It comes in a variety of colours as well.

I just went through this and ended up powder coating, I could not find a VHT sliver found black and red... The powder coat is the way to go, tough to do on the TB but it is worth it.

I don't know how much your powdercoaters are, but here it is very very reasonable

I use a powder coating shop with my business so if that is the best way to go, that will not be a problem. Thanks for the feedback guys.
