Mike who is restoring my Daytona sent me these photo's of a Dino he restored from a box of bits, I thought you might like to see them.
One interesting thing he did tell me was that later UK cars had earlier chassis's as Ferrari had to use up the right hand drive chassis's they had first.

Just did a search on ferrarchat.com for your car
have actually seen it at Mikes
is it the spyder ,if so pic's dont do it justice
I think your's might be the last car before Mike retires.
It still amazes me what he does to these cars.
Am going up there in a couple of weeks to see him, as he wants to see it mine finished
perhaps we could meet up there?

    Regards

    Stephen

Glad to see you have been Miked too!
I have just been reading your great thread on your restoration, it's all seems very similar to mine only Mike workshop was much tidier in 2005! My thread is called the Holey Daytona and is in the vintage section. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=183467

I have just reached the paint shop stage after 2 years. A lot of the time was spent getting the chassis strengthened exactly the same as the original and as there are only 5 RHD ones left in the UK in was hard to get to see one. [ but we did manage it at the crucial time]. Soooo pleaseed with Mike. I think he was the best person possible for this job.

    A true craftsman
I even bet he worked on the other 5
has he showed you his picture albums
    its like a who's who

I know hes kept original chassis tubing for another
2 cars or so, I still think he's got at least one more project in him before he retires.

Am very impressed with youre car
when are you hoping to drive it

I like the colour coded roof. Not seen many like that before, and the ones I have seen have been in red. It somehow seems to work better in silver.
