    Can anyone tell me where to start looking? My 99 355 check engine light came on. The car seems to run fine but the check engine light is on, I don't know where to begin.

    Have you tried taking the gas cap off and tightening it up again? Common problem for check engine light.

    Yep, all tight and light still on.

    Easy answer is take it to any chain autoparts store and have the codes read for free. Then write them down and post here for additional assistnace.

    on my 98 early on I had a sticky exhaust by pass valve that would cause this problem 3 valves later all good

    Wow, you are patient! There is an aftermarket alternative to the factory bypass valve, it is made by Capristo. Sponsor "Nick's Forza Ferrari" sells them.
