WOW, looks awesome! Though I think it's a "resprayed" EU Enzo... Unfortunately one can't see the plate clearly. btw: if this really is a clear carbon Enzo - with regards to NNO - we should have a nice worldplay now >Carbon Enzo<
It might be the one-off all-carbon fiber Enzo that Zanasi is working on (it will be significantly lighter than a factory Enzo).
I wonder how much kilos they are able to strip of the car, as the Enzo already has a full carbon body...?
Interesting question...I would also like to know the answer. From what I understood whilst briefly speaking to the guys at Zanasi, more can be done (so I'm presuming that there are metal components which can be replaced with carbon fiber components in the body/chassis?). I saw the car being worked on when I was in Maranello.
Edo Competition claim the shaved 100 kg of the Enzo for their Enzo XX Weight reducing program 100 kg!! http://www.edo-competition.de/en/cars/ferrari/ferrari-enzo-xx.html
If that Enzo had the black rear lights, then it would be the most beautiful car in the world. Wait a minute. It is already the most beautiful car in the world.
Like i said, looks like a nice wrap job Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
They also managed to strip off several kilos of the MC12 while creating the MC12XX. But this was more or less done due to a spartanic interior and lightweight rims... The EnzoXX in contrast has a full leather interior and the FXX engine which I assume to be a bit heavier. Except for the rims, I can't see any lightening things on that car... So I wonder what they did else if the 100 kg are true!?
...but I'm not sure if that's the same Enzo Zanasi was working on. Mine was just a guess. I just thought that given the "prova" plates and the bare CF that it could be the same car. I can't remember if the car they were working on had a bare CF exterior. All I remember was that the car was disassembled, the engine was out and even the interior was stripped out...I think. I saw so many amazing things during the "pilgrimage" in Maranello that I'm having a hard time remembering the details regarding that Enzo . I saw the car in mid-July. I'm surprised that it's already on the road. It might be another car after all.
It is extremely hard to achieve bare carbon fiber look that the Zonda has, especially on a car like the Enzo where they didn't plan for it to originally look like that. I could be wrong but i think you''ll find this is a wrap.
Don't know the S/N but that car (I think it's ENZ8) is mentioned and pictured in the back of this months EVO magazine having a play with Harry's Zonda whilst on 'holiday' in Italy
The thing seems to be the real deal, it has just been delivered yesterday to its german owner! It has a full red alcantara interior, tinted windows and a perfect carbonfiber body - awesome...
