I don't have that kit on my car , but i would't recommand to use it. The parts are just technicaly garbage. The Turbocharger is total oldschool maybe even a china replica. The intercooler looks also like china. The hole package is china. And the major problem on it is that it is like "universal" it isn't usefull for a V8 Rear/Mid Engine Car. You should use a watercooled intercooler on that car. I checked everything on the 348/355 to get enough air to a normal intercooler in the rear but its not possible without chassis modifications so i used a watercooled intercooler that works very good on rear/mid engines. Also you will have to use special exhaust headers and two smaller newer turbochargers like GT2860RS. I wouldn't use external wastegates on the V8 because of the space problem. Also it wouldn't be a big improvement on such small turbochargs. The stock exhaust manifolds are too long and wouldn't last long on the high exhaust pressure and exhaust temperatures added with the turbocharger. Also the efficincy of the turbocharger would hurt if mounted to far away from the engine. You should also reduce the compression ratio to get a stable engine. You have to reprogramm your ecu(s). Need more fuel and less early ignition angles. The stock MAF sensor is to small on the newer cars the old two M2.7 mafs are fine. Depending on how much horsepower you like to add you also need to change the injectors for bigger ones if a fuel pressure raise to 4bar wouldn't be enough.
If you are still interessted in build a good N/A to Turbocharged Engine you can email or pn me i did that on many different cars.

I agree, that kit is garbage. If you wanted to turbocharge your 355 properly, the correct turbo would cost more than that entire kit is selling for.

not necessarily. you have 1 post and its not a very knowledgeable one haha. Much of having a "proper" kit doesnt have much to do with the turbo it has a t3/t4 which yes i would buy a more expensive one, but theyre simply just not expensive, theyre not TERRIBLE...i'd be more worried about what type of engine management you'd use and that the intercooler is being fed air properly, especially with it being a mid engine car you cant just slap a front mount behind the bumper

    not very knowledgeable? explain.....

All t3/t4 means is size of compressor and turbine housings. T3/T4 tells you nothing of quality. Don't assume it is a Garret just because it states T3/T4.

As for engine management, the 355 has a fully programable engine management, it's called Bosch Motronic.

+1 ................ that 'kit' is just a whole bunch of parts that are not even properly selected for a 355 ........... but if one must have it ....... I am fairly certain one can get a better deal for the 'same kit' from these guys:

We were planning on turbo'ing one of Jetfixers 355's. Plans changed though....anyway we were kind of figuring on 20k to do it complete. Fabbing up the turbo headers is one thing that eats alot of time and labor.

    I love the review! :D :D

Now you have been warned to not put to many of them on at one time or you could snap your car in half. ;)
