A big thank you to PAP, Ernie, Mike and Ron with Sports Car Service... She's back on the road and running like a champ !!!!!

    Flywheel repacked
    Triple seals done
    T/O bearing rebuilt
    Clutch system bled

    Total cost $285

The feeling of having it done and a nice long drive.......... Priceless

I took me 3 months start to finish since I could only leave the wife alone an hour or so at a time. If I had it to do over I could do it in 1 day.

I figure I saved over $2500 vs having FOA do it and I have a more personal connection with the car and a bit of pride to boot.

    Thanks to all again........

    Ben

ps. props to Ricambi for having the parts in stock.. and a no questions/no worries replacement of a seal that was damaged in shipping

Right on Ben! Glad to hear it's back on the road brother. I was glad to be able to help, as I'm sure the rest of the guys were. That's what the Brotherhood is all about.

    That will help out fo-sho.

Those triple seals have always been the topic of discussion on how to get on, and now your neat trick will make it much easier for the next guy. Like I always say, every single little thing helps.

Very well said...sometimes it's about more than just saving money, and you said it best by describing it as a personal connection with your car and some pride.
