Probably lower than other 512TRs due to aftermarket rims, 512M tail lenses, and high miles (28,000)...just a thought. ;)

This is the car I talk about in my post from a few days ago. Went and saw it. The car looks great. A couple of concerns I had was how they changed the rear taillight panel and engine cover to the 512M style. I searched the posts in this forum and found others that have done it and it doesnt appear to be a simple trick. The salesperson could not produce receipts for the last major. Follow-up on the Carfax report was not helpful either. I have been looking at 512 prices for some time and this is one of the cheapest I found for what seems like a good car. For your info.

For some reason, the link didn't work for me, so here's the cut and paste -

I think the car look incredible. Mine has 32k miles and runs, drives like a champ. Some say argue for use vs stagnacy, but this car is - to my eye - gorgeous. I LIKE the "M" rear treatment. The owner may have the old parts, but probably not terribly difficult to source IF you must have them. Anyway, you ask, so I'm answering. If the car doesn't need the belt service within a year, "Yes, a buy".

Offer 70K, and see what happens :)... And, yes I too would be concerned about how well the rear valence mods (for the tail lights) were done --- if it was done properly (not cobbled), and you like it, buy it.

Correct TR tail lights are not hard to find --- but they are EXPENSIVE....

Bidding ended just under $60k, no sale of course. That car gets better looking every time I see it. I must have been listening to Shamille too much, because I'm starting to like the wheels too. That is a TON of eyeball and performance for ANYTHING under $80grand. Mid $70s' a bargain. Let us know.
