    Hi everyone. We recently bought a 1995 355 spider, and the hand brake was supposedly fixed. It worked a couple of times, but yesterday when going to use the hand brake, the button disappeared down the handle! and the brake light on the panel is now on. We are worried to drive it anywhere now, even to a shop. Any advice? I've been cruising the internet for a replacement handle, but no luck yet. Or can it be fixed? Thanks for any info.

    I have sen the outer grip slide up the handle, try to push that down first, then the 'pull up and push button' part. If the shoes/cable is not correctly adjusted, the handbrak e will always give problems.

    Thanks! That worked so far. We adjusted the cable under that car also.
