    I was driving along and saw a 355 ahead, so thought I'd catch up to him.

    Boy... how suprised was I when i found out it was one of these. Those rear lights are soooooooo common. I always mistake a vette for a 355.

    Thats funny Sy..

    But I must admit, that there is no way a 348 even keeps up with stock Ls1 vette in a straight line...

    My somewhat heavy modded Grand Sport KILLS my 348 and 360´s for that matter...

    But in the end it dosent matter at all...The 348 grin is the greatest!


    Ps. I allways love a god 348/355 bashing!

    I really think that the 348/355 section should be seperated.

    I asked Rob Lay (who owns this forum) if he could do it and even managed to get a petition of 4,000 people.

    Hope he doesn't mind, but i thought I'd copy/paste the email exchange we had.

    ANGELIS: Hi Rob, can the 348/355 section be seprated please.

    Rob: Hi... why's that?

    Angelis: Well, to be honest the 348 owners are a bit tired of the 355 lot and we are fed up reading about valve guides and cracked manifolds.

    Rob: Sorry Sy, but as much as I'd like to help you, it can't be done.

    Angelis: Why's that?

    Rob: Well, without the 348 guys in this section, the 355 guys will end up feminising the section. Only the 348 testosterone and machismo can hold it back. Some peeople think we put the two models together because they are similar. Not so. The 348 section was added so as to neutralise the girly 355 owners.

    Angelis: But Rob... you own a 355????

    Rob: Yes... but it's a 355 Challenge. We have our own seperate macho section. :D

    Angelis: oh...okay

    Rob Lay: By the way, I may have to make it the 348/355/California section. Those California owners are even worse than the 355 guys. It's nothing but grooming tips and interior decorating chat in their section at the moment!!!

    Sy, you can always tell when you are following a 355 vrs. a Vette. Check you windshield for hair goo; that's how you know it's a 355.
