Rediculous. Take the car out and drive it. Put it away after you have had detailed in a real garage. To sit on a sofa and stare at it while inhaling the fluid fumes (which also penetrate into the furnishings and continue to linger) is just nuts.

My exact sentiments. Where's the air compressors, 4 post lifts, etc? Although I dont care what day it is, I've got 4 or 5 calenders on the walls (Dillon Precision girls with guns, "The Girls Next Door", etc).

Right. My ultimate garage has five ex-formula one mechanics working there. I don't know where it is because they have pick up and delivery included in the $1.00 fee for each service call, no matter what type of repair or maintenance call......;)

PS: I had something similar at one time, in house ;)

I know someone who put an in ground swimming pool in the middle of his family room once. A serious bachelor pad that looked really cool but had definate drawbacks. Although the pool was totally enclosed by glass walls you could smell the clorinated smell of pool chemicals throughout the house. The clorine eventually got to all the drapes in the home and they started to bleed out their colors. While the high moisture level in the house began to eat the drywall. In the end the house became impossible to live in or sell and was torn down and the property sold for land value only. The moral of the story: Not all ideas are winners and neither are othere peoples garages.
