I did. That's how I ended up here. The lawyer advised me to try to get the Ferrari sold before I kicked his sorry butt to thee curb.

Without me he'd be biking. He got the car when I was pregnant with out first child. I'm the fool who extended my credit. He, of course had none having spent his money on car parts since he was 16. Love is blind.

Having sold everything I have of value (which you can imagine is not much when you've been married to a selfish putz for 12 years who can't keep a job) I'm now trying to talk a grown man into selling his toy so his kids can keep the house he parks it in. I've been the key bread winner for 12 years and as a mother of three I really can't add to my 12 hour work days.

I get that and was happy to let him pursue his passion before we had 3 kids, a mortgage and he lost 3 jobs because he always pursues fun over responsibility. But you're a decent guy among the putz's here Mark, and I appreciated the consideration in your post.

The marriage is over, my kids and I will be better off on our own. There is no competition, he can't afford the car or me. Even after 3 kids, I think I'm hotter than the car. Know any nice guys who live within their means?

So maybe you'll be the one to tell me how to assess the 308 as I know nothing about it. It must be in good condition because he spends big bucks on it and endlessly tunes it. Where do I take it to get it valued? And my name is on the title, so I'm entitled, pun intended. What's the value range? Where's the best place for a quick sale?

Selling the Ferrari will solve ALL the problems......?

(or is it an exercise of power)

People sometimes purchase assets (& non-assets) to bandaid the personal/relationship issues

    and then..

sell off the assets (& non-assets) to prove or fix issues.... It didnt help the first time, what makes you think it'll help this time..

Ultimately, the sellling of a Ferrari or anything for that matter STILL does not improve matters but damages the relationship further.....

This whole post is nonsense. For those of us who have been around the block more than once, your trying to hard. When you are trying to B.S. people, you should remember subtlety is key. There are so many little details in your approach, tone, and comments that are internally inconsistent.

It could be just a hunch, but I am quite confident (A) this was not written by a woman (B) not written by someone going through a divorce (C) not written by someone with children and (D) written by someone whose idea of amusement is to pretend to be someone else.

Could I be wrong...possibly. But I doubt it.

If this is legitimate, why would try and sell this here? This is not a classified ads section.

You really don't. Paid cash for this....Yellow 348, 0 miles, interior showroom condition, exterior perfect. Not even the first speck of dust on it...that may change if I ever decide to take it out of the package though.

I hope your business does not rely on your instincts, they are not good.

I got real. I guess it just hit too close to home for several of you.

I don't think you got it the first time. The relationship is history and the Ferrari needs to be sold to bring the mortgage on the house I and my kids will live in current. Sounds like there's a women hating Ferrari club out there the bum can move into. I'll pass along any posted addresses.

This car will be someone elses next week I hope. But I guess I'll have to go elsewhere to figure out how to make that happen. Thanks for the experience though, I somehow feel a bit better knowing there are so many of you--I didn't just have the bad instinct to pick the one guy who values a hunk of metal over his family.
