We all know who it was - you are a Ferrari celebrity after all. Kinda like our own Montezemelo. :)

Just for the record Daniel is THE MAN to go to for Ferrari parts. :)

If you popped your head outside, you might have heard me screaming loudly about all the fools driving on the wrong side of the road! I nearly killed a small family driving into Legoland (near Windsor, I think) when I entered a roundabout going anticlockwise. Poor Hertz... they're gonna be pissed when they see my rental.

I was thinking the supposed 'thief' knew that 348 was not a real challenge and was trying to rectify the matter .............. ;)

Looks like he is searching for some good NC barbeque...
Strangely his tan (or lack thereof) almost makes him look local for you guys...
I'm sure if he had succeeded in getting the challenge badge from your car, there is a really nice guy here that could get you a replacement.
    ;)

I have to admit that it was late when I saw this and fell for it. I knew that something was not right about it but Sy was very convincing to someone with no sleep. :D He and Daniel let me in on the deal so I continued to play along. I did think it was strange that some guy who was in the middle of trying to steal the emblem off of a Ferrari would keep trying even after someone took a pic of him doing it. Great stuff though. I am still fairly new to this forum so I was not familar with the pranking range of Mr Sy. Now I will be more on guard. ;)

    Well done sir!

The shoes gave it away for me. Who would wear shoes like that except another ferrari owner. You need those skinny ones to get into the footwells. Maybe they sell them on the website.

Cemeterys are full of dead Marines that gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms of Millions. To make the statement you have made proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt..."YOU" are a thankless...."PIECE OF ****!!!!!".......Mark.

I'm notorious for doing pranks on forums in the UK. :D

Best one I ever did was when I was running Club Scuderia, a UK based Ferrari forum. I pretended I had received a letter from Ferrari UK asking us to stop posting pictures that contained the Ferrari logo such as hats, clothing etc. Any logo in the picture had to be covered up, otherwise they would use legal action against us.

You should have seeen how outraged everyone became. Had people offering me lawyers etc. I still laugh about it to this day.

Another time I posted up that my sister was loking for a girl friendly tFerrari hat was easy to drive. Everyone started recommending the 360 which they agreed was perfect for a girl.

Or the time I said I was going to put neon lights under my car and a red light in the front gril like Knighrider.

I'd have called the cops and proceeded to kick the S#$T out of him until they got there. Starting off with a shot from behind square in the nads like I was going for a field goal!!SOME PEOPLE WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOUR PROPERTY! They may be envious of your car or just looking for free parts as in your case...either way they are scumbags. So did you confront him as to what he was doing or just let him walk away...? Not trying to make ya look weak if ya didn't but how in world could you hold yourself back...I'd have been on him like stink on a monkey. I'd have tried not to assult him but it wouldn't be outta line in this case. I hope someone knows who he is so people can be looking out for their cars if they see him lurking about...I'm glad he's across the pond from me but there are crooks everywhere...it can happen to anyone, anytime.

At least he didn't accomplish his goal...

At least you did not let Daniel drive your 348, It would have been a lot worse than a "missing badge"

Here is the aftermath of his UK rental car.... (this is after he fixed it)

I can just hear him now "Why yes sir I will take the insurance"

DUDE, you need to read the whole post before posting your response. It was a joke. Yes, I was very upset when I saw the very first post but everything is cool now.
