The leather on the door panels around the switches has pulled away. I took it to an upholstery place today and they didn't think they could recover it and get it to stick. Has anyone had any success with this?

What are the issues with the upholstery shop? Do they just not want to mess with it? I would think any good shop would be able to repair it properly...

I want to do this for the 348. The panels covered in vinyl look like crap. I want to cover the doors in something that looks a little better.

The first place did not want to do it. They were concerned they could not get the leather to stay attached.

The second place I went to had no concerns.

Before the area around the window switch was completely seperated, it looked horrible.
