'97 F355 spider has developed an engine miss (sounds like bank shut down) and the slowdown light flashes. Should I have the car towed to the Ferrari dealer, or to an indepedent shop that specializes in Italian sports cars? Both shops are within 10 miles of my home but the independent shop suggested it would be OK to drive. I am now doubting his level of expertise thinking I may do damage by driving the car.

Don't take it to the guy who said it was OK to drive.

    He's an idiot.
