Guy, girl, girl, guy...HEY, WAIT A MINUTE! Are those two in back holding hands? Still addicted to spray-on tanning I see.
To each their own, of course. But this stuff seems a little too 'Truman Capote' for me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, I lost 25 lbs in Iraq thanks to the heat and wearing the armor! Seriously, want to get in shape fast? Put on a 80lbs suit and walk in circles in a sauna for a few hours a day. Yuck!
The suits on his site are quite nice, but the stuff Gilles27 posted is positively Halloween. How bad would TheRari get beaten up if he wore that to his Junior High?
In New Jersey?? Home of this....??? Image Unavailable, Please Login I bet he looks like that NOW! Thats why he asked.
I think that a lot of the high end men's clothing is just as focused on being overly thin/anorexic as women's fashion. Those model photos: it looks like he has leukemia. I've noticed in LA, guys like that wear women's jeans with their underwear showing. After representing clients in and learning about the clothing/apparel industry and the huge mark ups on everything, I cannot buy stuff like that anymore. Especially cotton goods and denim. Although I like fancy stuff including clothes, I just don't get the "utils" [think econ] out of spending my money on them that I used to. Like GuyIncognito, I just go to Old Navy (not even Banana Republic anymore) or Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx. Plus, as a lawyer that represents 'normal' people, I should be in modest but clean sportswear. No $300 Zegna dress shirts, or suits over a few hundred $ either. In fact, in the sub-$120 dress shirts (after wasting money on Calvin Klein and others that shriveled, lost buttons or were in tatters after a few months), I've found that the best looking, toughest and easiest to care for dress shirts are the wrinkle-free cotton-poly Van Heusens, which I get at the local outlet mall for $18-24 each. The collars stay sharp and pointy for 2-3 years, and fairly stain resistant. Plus, if you drop a buttery prawn on it at a lunch with a client... oh well it's only $20.
Bespoke is when you are measured for the suit, but you basically choose the fabrics, design, etc. MTM is when you are measured for a suit, but the designer makes the suit for you. You dont personally customize the suit.
I guess it depends on what she writes besides the name.... You know, if your name is Richard, but she writes "Dick", etc. in the WAIST band Mike in Kuwait
Frankly, I have golf outfits that aren't that loud... These aren't for me.... that's for sure. Mike in Kuwait
I always wondered how much better the designer stuff is. Do you have level of qualitites when it comes to things like demin? How does a $200-some pair of jeans beat a pair at Old Navy/Gap? As far suits, what about Hong Kong? http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25428082-5013369,00.html
