My ride should be out from the nose respray by Saturday. Anyone going to the Cars and Coffee in Plano? Pre-meet Starbucks appeal to anyone?

Wish I could make another meet boys. Hope everyones doing well in dfw. Been working like a dog for 2 months now down here in houston and no 355. Finally cranked her up this past weekend and that Mother#$&#$* coded check engine 1-4 on me so as soon as I can get it into norwoods or ruff I might get it back in 2010 for a run. Till then take some pics for me.

Wow, what a turnout! Amazing number of amazing cars! Eddie, your new car is gorgeous. My son hasn't quit talking about it.

 

The turnout was amazing. When the Ferrari F50 showed up, I almost went running to it

 

Official turnout was 430 cars. Amazing.

 

WOW I thought F50's were all myths til now... was that Eddie's too???

 

Good thing I got there when I did, parked with the rest of the Brits. The lot was full by 8:45am, great turnout but so many cars still coming in. Btw, did anyone get a chance to see one of the Cobras that lost control when leaving & almost wound up in the wall of the tollway access road?

 

Yeah I got it on video, as well as the Copperhead Viper that lost control in the middle of the road. I may put it on youtube at some point, if I do I'll post it here. Watching them all do the peeling out and stuff is cool, but it's only a matter of time before something happens where the cops will have to patrol the exit...

Thanks I didn't see happen but heard from across the parking lot, someone to me it was a Cobra. What a jackass.

 

the Cobra powerslid around the corner, went too far right, tried to correct (while still on the throttle) and overcorrected, he slammed on the brakes and ran into the curb pretty hard, any faster he would have hit the wall. then he backed up and took off, sliding a bit as well... cool to watch but unnecessary with all the people around.

 

Thanks again for clearing that up, so many people were saying that they were surprised no cops were parked in that office lot next door, it would have been a money making day for the city of Plano.
