These *******s think it is fun to harass a Ferrari driver in traffic http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=d74_1250347455
Whenever I have had little punks pull this stuff I ALWAYS pull over...... I don't say a word...........If and When the punk tries to speak to me I'm cordial and ask them if they are finished. Usually they say "**** OFF!!!" and peel away, but when they want to play..........well..........Im not into self incrimination.
I used to get these characters when I was in the F40. For some reason they always tried to get in front. I would let them, and then push them. It usually didn't take long before they had to stop for a diaper change. Game over!
To answer your question, here are a few reasons: 1) they are jealous and insecure 2) they are too stupid to own a Ferrari 3) they do not have what it takes to own a Ferrari (will, determination, hard work, etc) 4) they do not have the balls to own a Ferrari if anyone else wishes to add to this list, please feel free
I get this occasionally, too, in a couple of cars. I give a chance to pass - if they don't take it and move on, I'll move back into the (passing if on the highway) lane, and become the speed-twin to the bespeckled grandma in her Camry. I just don't play the baiting game. I've been blocked enough times to know not to bother engaging them as anything more than an annoying obstacle. I have helped more than a couple "enjoy their favorite lane" past their exits (even passing my own to continue helping them), occasionally assisted by another random driver as ticked-off as I am by their antics, who caught the glance towards to exit lanes and the panicking last-moment blinker.
I usually get this kind of treatment from guys in Dodge Pickups. Here in Oregon there's lots of curvy roads. I just don't slow down for the corners. Pretty soon the problem just goes away. :-D If I'm in traffic I just make a sudden turn and again, the problem goes away. One of the funny things is that the Corvette guys leave me alone. Their cars can beat my 308 every way but one. My car will be worth more next year and theirs will be worth less than this year. I still enjoy the car and won't let it go until I no longer enjoy it.
I have had this happen even in the 911. Usually a pickup truck, licking my rear bumper for miles, at night. Very annoying.
I would never accelerate hard in front of people like that. No need to give them a show and encourage them. I think pulling over is the right thing to do.
Same here. Why is it that the most dickish drivers seem to favor the Dodge truck? What will they buy now that Dodge is bankrupt? BT
Dodge diesel drivers are the worst, especially high school/college kids. They love seeing gobs of black smoke pour out the exhaust. Not to mention driving like speed racer.
Most P/U driving road warriors are really gutless/infantile boys who quickly cave in to a little reverse intimidation......
Because they lead empty, meaningless pitiful lives.... And seeing US behind the wheel, only reminds them! LOL!
Of course, here in Texas the tinted window would have rolled down, and a few .357 slugs shattering the driver's window at the 2:10 minute mark, would have made it a MUCH shorter clip......LOL!
best advice so far. Not good to be part of someone's potential problem: Ferraris are deep pockets, and 'kids' are too full of youth to make sense...most couldn't negotiate a simple look ahead to get out of a traffic blockage let alone a dangerous situation. [lucky they stopped in last bit of video....it was dark, a pedestrian JUST stepped onto the street, and the 'kids' were all on the adrenalin chase scenario.... ] BOTH the Ferrari Driver and 'kids' exhibited poor driving tactics. let them go.
I simply have nothing to prove. Apparently, they do. Best they get on with it. They have a very long way to go. I've often wanted to ask what they charge to cut lawns with that thing they drive considering what it sounds like. Then again, no. I already have a good lawn service.
