I found a very easy fix for this.

Step 1: Pull out your cell phone and take a picture of the azzwhole.
Step 2: Pull back and take a picutre of the License plate.
Step 3: (speak loudly) Pretend to call the cops and give a description of the driver and the vehicle.

Step 4: Watch the azzwhole run away

    works everytime!!!!!

    Thanks,
    UZY

Actually calling the police works much better. I have done that twice and once, I had the pleasure of watching the car get pulled over after pointing out to the LEO (responding to my call) the car doing the harrassment. Trouble was, 30 minutes later and on the same road, the car came by me at 120 mph, then slowed to 70 and started again.

I pulled into a convenience store and stopped and asked the owner to call the police, pointing out the window to the car. They decided to leave.

Another time, I had a coupla of guys driving up a heavily littered and gravel strewn center lane with double stripes on both sides at over 100 mph just to take pictures, and of course, as they came by, with passenger hanging out the window with phone cam, they threw debris and dirt and gravel all over my car. I reported their plate numbere to local police but nothing ever came of it.

People do really stupid things for really stupid reasons. I refuse to engage in activities with them. If I think they are an imminent danger, I find a way to exit that they are unable to follow when it is safe to do so.

    Agreed.

Life is too short to get angry over some random idiots on a motorway.

    Just don't play their game.

There's a bit of irony that a couple losers in a van with a video camera think they're really giving it to the guy in the Ferrari.

I find this happening mostly with BMW drivers who want to race me..M3 models especially. I just move to the right lane and let them pass. Not worth them losing control and drifting into my lane or rear ending me.

Just move over and let them go. Last Valentine's day, I got home from work and I was taking my wife and some friends out to dinner. My wife asked me to take the 360, and although I had just washed it the previous weekend and it was lightly raining out, we took the 360 despite my crystal clear objections that I don't like driving the car on certain occasions given the crazies that come out of the woodwork when I drive it. My wife didn't believe me, but on the way home, I had a car full of kids tailgating me even after I had moved over, and they were clearly driving recklessly. Eventually they had enough of trying to goad me into a race and they accelerated away, just as a CHP cruiser was pulling onto the freeway and immediately pulled them over. Now my wife understands why I like to drive the car in the mornings when the stupid kids aren't around.

Exactamundo. And definitely not worth them losing control and taking someone else out. That makes any participant in a "race" criminally complicit. What is it about M3 drivers?! I think the E46's are cheap enough that stupid kids buy them now...

In most countries (including the US) "Move right except to pass".
The left lane is for passing so pull to the right and let the assh*les behind you pass and resume your trip. It was obvious these guys were just there to harass the guy in the Fcar. They had plenty of chances to get around him.

I have pulled over to the shoulder a few times just to get rid of these guys.

In video it looks like the chase guys were just being "horseflies", looking for the Ferrari to get on it a few times. If they were pushing the guy to move over they would have been all over his rear bumper.

As far as Dodge Trucks go, I have been "smoked out" by their dash mounted fueling controls which at first pissed me off until I realized that at the end of the day they are still driving one of 20 million Dodge trucks on the road today and I am driving the TR..

This vid. is from Turkey so they are speaking Turkish.
This 360 is a "well known" car. Usually they ride as a pack (two 430s, two Gt-Rs, lp560 and a vette zr1). While driving carelessly, in and out or traffic, they usually harass other commuters, albeit unwillingly!!

At the beginning of the vid. guys at the van (VW Transporter i presume) say something like "hey, call that sob and tell him to make some noise". So it looks like they know him, but at the end, they say something like "he run away" like he is afraid of them.
From the tones of their voices and slang they use it seems like they do not know him, but these days you can never be sure what type of people got money to drive a nice car and considering their traffic manners, well, who knows.

ps: I think, "Move right except to pass" is not a common term used in European countries, as our highways are not as broad as US and we (afaik) don't have car pool lanes.
Logically faster traffic is on the left lane, but if you want to go "faster" you have to use all the lanes, because a public bus can clog up the left lane thinking he is going fast..
But, that is never an excuse to swerve in and out till you reach your destination.

I would have let them pass. I would not engage/entertain these type of people. The world is full of haters. You would think the better things in life would serve as motivation to work hard to attain goals. Unfortunately, some twisted minds would prefer to hate people who have accomplished their goals. Very few people have had a Ferrari given to them. Sorry about the rant.
The safest thing is let them pass. They have little to lose, so will take chances just to get a thrill.

    Why do people do this?

They want to prove something, especially to somebody who owns a Ferrari!

I ignore them and don't vary my speed. Sooner or later they get bored and go away. I would not hesitate to call the police if they did anything dangerous.

    Ciao

Both drivers were acting like idiots on a crowded highway. The Ferrari driver should have just melded into traffic and let the 'hecklers' go on their way.

Blame goes to both, each was just as ignorant as the other! People who feel they have something to prove on the road are those that end up killing the innocents!!!!

Ive come across lots of situations in the UK, and they are all quite stupid. Mostly here, its jealousy driven, and a heavy right foot gets you out of trouble real quick. Ive had them mess around, brake test, swerve all over a dual lane road to stop me passing, all sorts, but being confrontational, I scare the heck out of any dumb enough to try to stop me!

Its not confined to Ferraris anymore. I used to expect it every trip here in the F-car, but driving my Maser or Aston, none at all, but recently its been anything INCLUDING my Grand Cherokee - ridiculous eh. These guys dont realise that if they actually worked harder and made a few sacrifices, they could try to own one themselves instead of committing themselves to never-wills and being dicks

I agree...the Ferrari driver had absolutely nothing to prove, and should have ignored them rather than fall into their trap.
