Oh, and with 17,000 posts, imagine all the time you rather could have spent watching the tickers on NASDAQ, making mad dough. :D

    Dude,

If you want to diss someone I suggest you get subscribed so we can know about you also. And James G. is a cool person who we all envy for the many car experiences he has had. And the neat thing is that he has not distanced himself from the rest of us car "JUNKIES" with his personal success.

Other than that, welcome to F/C......

Wow, talk about getting your panties in a bunch!

It was in no way meant as an insult, merely a humorous remark. In reality, I happen know Mr. Glickenhaus' background before stumbling upon him on this board. Moreover, I plan to pursue very similar career paths myself. Film directing, screenwriting and the brokerage business are all very admirable occupations, please get a clue.

Please let us not further decay this, otherwise very informative, build thread.

    Jim,

Why black on the seats instead of the corresponding exterior color that would stay along the lines of the stock interior (even though it has been modified)

Actually, the stock interior very likely would have had the black inserts. I would guess that the inserts shown here are made from the correct '57 coupe insert material.

Nope sorry all chevy cars of the 55,56,57 all had matching interiors with the exterior colors. They had black inserts if the car itself was black.

Nope =) The '57 BelAir interiors, with Red, Silver, or Yellow primary seat colors all came with a Black insert.

Inserts aren't black but like 673.

    That's a rear speaker grill.

We'll be done in about two weeks, will put 1000 miles on her, go through her one last time, and get her home.

    Top Cover finished.
