ItalianCarFest 2009 (in Grapevine, Texas, on September 12) is now open for registration. We have our Application Form on our website - www.ItalianCarFest.org - as a printable pdf file. I invite you to read about our 2009 show and send in your Application. On-line registration will be available shortly.

We are looking for older, more rare cars that I know are hiding in garages around the Metroplex and in other parts of Texas and Oklahoma. We have a limit of 85 cars for the show field, so I invite you to submit now, rather than later.

Please send a photo as well (via email), so we can see your pride and joy. If we get more applications for a class than we have room for, we will have to make a judgement call on selecting the cars. Please know that we will be fair and objective in choosing entrants. Simply said, we want to display the best of each marque with a representation of many of the models.

Visit our site at www.ItalianCarFest.org for all the details. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones on September 12.

ItalianCarFest 2009 will be the best ever!

Bob, I sent my registration in earlier this week so count me in. Hopefully you should have received it by now. I also saw your announcement to the club members that an Alfa 8C will be there. That is great news! I have not seen one in the flesh and can't wait.

I should be able to make the club meeting next week and will definitely sign up to help set up on Friday and help with directing traffic and whatever is needed on Saturday.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

I know it's the same weekend as the Crescent Classic, so that's going to put a bunch of locals out of town

To Our Friends on FerrariChat -

ItalianCarFest is only two weeks away and you can still be in the show! We will accept on-line registration through Sept 6 and we are holding our entry fee to $35. Your entry also includes two tickets to the annual GrapeFest Vintners' Auction Classic - a $50 value - to be held the night of our show. The evening includes entertainment, complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres.

At ItalianCarFest, purchase great Italian heros from Syracuse's Sausage Company and delicious Italian gelato from Napoli's Italian Cafe. Wine, soda and water will also be available. Buy a raffle ticket for a signed Bill Neale print, with the winner announced at the awards ceremony.

Please visit our site at www.ItalianCarFest.org for all the details and register today. We look forward to seeing our old friends again.

NOTE: For those of you who have already sent in your application, you have been accepted to the show and you will be receiving a formal note to that effect by Sun, Aug 30. We sincerely thank you for supporting ItalianCarFest.

The owner of the Ferrari F50 that showed up to C&C today really needs to enter his car in this event. :D

To Our Friends at FerrariChat -

Registration for ItalianCarFest is still open and our registration fee is $35 for a car ($20 for a two-wheeler) and will remain at that price.

Some application forms that were handed out at Cars and Coffee in Plano last Saturday still showed the price increases - please ignore them.

Register today for an enjoyable day at historic Nash Farm in Grapevine - we know you will have a great time. Please go to www.italiancarfest.org, click on Entrant Information and scroll down to the link for on-line registration.

We look forward to seeing you at the show!

    Bob Dezzany

ItalianCarFest just registered an incredible Ferrari - a 1971 Daytona Spider, just over 3,600 miles, all original - and the owner will be driving the car to our show!

Make sure you are there to see it - preferrably as an entrant - and spend the day with us. Visit www.italiancarfest.org and register now - the cost will remain at $35.

    See you on September 12th......

OK, I guess I will reserve the day for old single mirror Testarossa 60447.

Carolyine Rose shamed me into it.

Will pay on arrival, if that is ok.

    James and others interested parties,

There will be NO day of show registration for the Italian Car Fest! All registrations must be done in advance, preferably on line at: http://iccsw.com/ICF/. I repeat, NO day of show registrations! You must preregister or you will not be on the show field.

There will be dedicated parking for Italian cars and motorcycles driven to, but not entered in, the show.

Ahhhhh, well. Looks like I should have checked this thread more recently. I was thinking about it, and the weather looks like it may be cooling down enough to endure the Boxer's greenhouse/sauna.
There's always next year. Might come out to poke around, tho. :D
