Sadly not. Great that you did though even if you couldn't get a piccie for us. Great that it's being used, I hope the owner gets to stretch her legs now and again too.

I took a stroll (which turned into a sweat soaked slog) along to SPS yesterday afternoon in Chai Wan. Unfortunately my walk was in vain as the place was well and truly locked up. Peeking through the windows as well as the usual Zonda and 911 racer fare they had a fantastic red Koenig Specials (I think) Ferrari 328 GTS. Loved it! Also a 'DM' plated 308 in black.

I was on west bound Gloucester Road down the ramp near Hutchison House. Wasn't paying too much attention to the opposite traffic, but was lucky enough to have spotted it.

100% confirm its a Reventon. It was on the right lane and likely it turned to Queensway afterwards.

Awesome photos Fluffy! Authentic 993 GT2? Wheel spacing looks a bit narrow. Any more pics of it?

Agree. Looks like there is a sunroof on that car - does a 993 GT2 have a sunroof? Maybe a suited up C2!!! Sunroof is the easiest way to spot a fake RS

Good call and well spotted. Same as the 996. Plenty of dressed up to look like GT3's here but almost all have the sunroof. On the subject of 993's, how's your RS treating you DM18?

Thanks Fluffy! Widen the track, strip out the interior, chuck in a rollcage and I'm all over it.

Hi everyone, I'm new here and this is my first post. I was introduced here by a friend who goes by the name RWP a while ago and I've been looking through the pages with nothing short of absolute amazement of the kind of cars lurking around here in HK.

Anyway, just yesterday I photographed a pair of very nice cars that I thought would be post worthy on this thread, and no better way to introduce myself with here.

I spoke to the owner of one of the cars and mentioned Ferrari Chat but forgot to ask a question that's been on my mind recently. I see that most of you post photos of cars with their number plates blurred out, my question is this because of a certain kind of privacy law in HK or is it more of a personal habit to respect the privacy of the car owners? I don't mind erasing out number plates but sometimes (and it relates to this occasion) the number plates are 'part of' the car, and erasing them will only ruin the cars.

So instead of posting before I get some pointers from anyone here, I'll just post some snippets first without intruding the privacy of the owners of these cars.

    Welcome to Fchat!

As for your question, its really just a personal habit for most. I don't think there are any laws preventing one from posting pics of other people's cars with their plates whilst on public roads. Afterall, you posting a number plate on here is no different from the pedestrians on the road seeing the same car; its out in public and its not meant to be any confidential personal data; in my opinion anyway.

I'm back from HK since more than a week now and finaly have the time to post some pictures. It was great beeing back in HK even if it was only for 6 days. I spotted quite a lot of cars and we went to SPS in Chai Wan (by MTR :)).

Does anybody know if the silver Enzo some posts above is the same one as the one displayed in the City of Dreams in Macau?

Here are the first pisc from the Renaissance Hotel

PWOA! That white 430 Scuderia is NICE! I gotta check the place out next time I'm there... great stuff man.
Thanks for the reception Jon@Tezta and AC6, I'll go along and post the pictures with number plates off when I think it won't ruin the cars and leave them on at other times.

Thank you! And here's my first formal contribution to this thread:

    GT40 & Cobra

I've only uploaded these two images because I don't want to over flood this post with the pile I prepared, also to keep my upload capacity in control.

For more images, please go to the following link at GTPlanet, you don't need to register there to see the post, and I highly recommend checking them out:

    http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3530095&postcount=18830

And a note to the owners who mentioned that they will come here to check out the photos, I've decided not to photoshop out the number plates because I think it would ruin the cars and photos, if you would rather have them erased please PM me and I will try my best to remove them. Cheers, and great cars you've got here

Great pics Martin. There was a white Spyker next to the white Scuderia when I went. I didn't see anything that exciting at the Renaissance. Did you go to Conrad and Island Shangri-La at Admiralty or Peninsula at TST?
