Does anyone have a 355 mirror control wiring diagram

    All,

    I'm the proud new owner of a 1997 355 spider. I'm sorting through the few mior issues that the car is suffering from. I'm unable to adjust my mirrors properly. 2 of the 4 directions work but the other 2 are dead. Same symptopm both mirors and both directions so I'm pretty confident the switch is shot. The switch is like everything Ferrari pertty expensive so I'd like to confirm that's the problem.

    I could likely confirm it just with the switch, my volt meter, and about 1/2 an hour to reverse engineer the wiring/switch. If anyone has the diagram for the switch and wiring it would help out and confirm that my electrical troubleshooting is A-ok.

    OK, the shop manual is multi-page for this circuit, so uploading one photo isn't going to work. But, I'll give you a run down:

    The mirror control is identified by device #03566 on the wiring diagram. #09500 is the RH mirror, #09501 is the LH.

    #03566 control Pins 1-7 are wired as follows:
    1-yel/blk
    2-grn
    3-red/wht
    4-blk/wht
    5-blk
    6-red/yel
    7-blu/yel

    #09500 RH mirror wires
    1-blu/wht
    2-yel/blk
    3-blu/red
    4-blk
    5-red/yel

    #09501 LH mirror wires
    1-blu/red
    2-blk/wht
    3-red/wht
    4-yel/blk
    5-blk
    6-wht/blk
    7-gry/grn

    Looking at the schematic symbols it appears the following is true:
    09500
    pin 1 is motor drive 1 (don't know which direction)
    pin 2 is motor drive 2
    pin 3 is a resistive load (heater?)
    pin 4 is return on resistive load pin 3
    pin 5 is common on motor drives

    09501
    pin 1 is resistive load
    pin 2 is motor drive 1
    pin 3 is motor common
    pin 4 is motor drive 2
    pin 5 is resistive load return
    pin 6 is a solenoid
    pin 7 is solenoid return (unknown function)

    Pins are left to right numbered in this example.

    Good luck. You should be able to get further along with this info that I hope I decoded correctly.
