Well Guys, as of this morning my priorities have changed. Found out a long time friend is inches away from forclosure on his home and I cannot in good conscience let this happen. I'm going to list my car on Ferrari ads and ebay today with a "buy it now" at $21,500. There will be other cars, but friends and Family are most important so I'll take my lumps as a quick sale is needed. Breaks my heart to part with this car, but I know its for the best and that I could never look him in the eye again if I let him loose his home while I have the resources to help him out. Kim

That's a real stand up thing. I've done similar with a car of mine. Best of luck to your friend. I spread the link to help get the car sold!

A stand-up move. Have you posted notice of your ebay ad elsewhere here?

No, got tired of retyping the ad and the site not accepting it. Guy from Canada called 2 hours into the auction and begged me to accept $20k to end the auction now, told him $21.5 firm unless he wants to take his chances for 6 days, said he would call me tomorrow.

Wow...I must say you are quite the friend! That's just awesome! And if there is any truth to Karma, I'd say this move will be worth at least a Citation Jet somewhere down the road :)

So what ended up happening? Did you sell the car? Save the friend? I'm on the edge of my seat hear having just stumbled onto this thread!
