Yeah... I heard they're going to intentionally loosen some of the ringnuts in the gearbox, "just for old times sake".
Actually we purists would like it. And we would like it on the 458 sixteen years from now too, because that is what Ferrari put on the car. MB
Well, they sped up the windows (you know, this whole thing about lightweight and being faster), but in the process, the cut the rubber gasket size in 1/2, thereby keeping the 'old world' flavor of getting wet when you drive in the rain. I think indeed, the 458 is the rebirth of the 348 !
This always happens during a new model introduction .......... the 'illustrations' always look far better than the actual car ......... the illustrations show 'thin spoke versions of 355 wheels' ........ then they go and 'dork it up' by revisiting past mistakes .......... it is usually the fault of management, wanting to increase profits at the expense of the product ...... Nah - I think those wheels look great!! I think they'd also look good on a 348... I wonder if they'd fit? All the best, Andrew.
No, don't like the front at all from that angle. May change my mind when I see it in the metal though.
From that angle it looks like it should be a $60,000-$70,000 price range car not something over $225,000.
