    Hi, I have searched for this but cannot find it, what are the coils on a 3.2 Mondial, I know they are Marelli but, are they BAE504B, is there any other makes.

    Cheers

    The 3.2 Mondial OMs (Section 1) show:

    euro = Marelli AEI500C

    US = Marelli AEI500C or AEI500B

    On left, original Ferrari OEM coil, Marelli AEI500C, very few if any available in old stock (if anyone has one please pm me).

    On right, new coil, supercedes old Ferrari part number, Marelli AEI600C. This is what you would now get at a Ferrari dealer, unless they had the old stock item on the shelf.

    The reason I know is I had a coil failure, and bought a replacement from the dealer. It was one of the last (the last?) old stock item. Feeling that the other coil would be best replaced, I ordered another one from a US parts supplier. It was the new style. Not wanting two different coil types, for appearance if nothing else, I have tried to find an old style one out there. None available in North America that I can source, I have some inquiries to Europe. Can anyone confirm that having one old and one new style coil would be functionally acceptable? These are not cheap items, but I don't want to cause some ignition or microplex porblems...

    If you really want to try and find a NOS coil, I would individually call each dealer in North America...and former dealers. The former dealer in Toronto (I forget the name) used to post on Ebay all the time. He had TONS of NOS stuff for 1970's through early 1990's Ferraris. Including interior leather trim parts. Prices were not inexpensive, but worth calling or offering a bid.

    Hi, I'm looking for AEI500B/C. Anyone knows where can get the coil or alternative?

    Thanks
