Don't know where you're coming from in the Enfield area, but if you go the back way take 190 rather than 140 as there has been some road construction on the latter at the Somers/Ellington leg.

I'm trying to move some things around as well to be at Rte 32 at 1030. Right off exit are a pair of gas stations, left is a 'commuter lot' but it's all stone parking IIRC.

Was away from the computer all day thanks to Lil Bastage Hockey game in....you guessed it...Mass. (Dracut, way up near NH).

Come back to find Lil Bastagette sick. Momma gonna stay home to nurse her. Soooo, Im wifeless. Anyone got a loaner? She must be able to put...... Never mind.

Subtract Franks extra's and we are down to 52 people with 23 cars and 3 bikes on the confirmed list. 3 other cars from our group confirmed to meet at Ed's and a few possible last minute additions. This is going to be COOOOL. Maybe we should get some "funeral" signs so we can blow all the lights. You think they will believe all the greaving souls drive cool cars. Nahh...Me niether...

    Morgan...Tell me 32/19 is clean.

Lane, Looking at the map, my guess is you guys will be at the intersection of 32/190 in Stafford Springs between 10:45-11:00. Do U agree? I'll get there at 10:45 to be safe, unless U think U will be earlier. R U going U-Conn Husky and R U +1? Disregard the voicemail I left U earlier.

I was out at a campground off 32 working on an Airstream just this Wed, the section I used was in good shape. It's a back woods highway, just keep the spacing appropriate and there shouldn't be any problems with stray gravel kick ups.

There is a tiny rotary downtown Stafford but early on a Sunday it won't be too busy, after that smooth sailing.

I've been up 19 as far as Stafford High School to do a summer school teacher's Pathfinder, there was some light construction but the pavement was good. This was at least 1.5 months ago though so it should be gone if you end up passing it.

Im still working on getting ready. When I moved the car tonight I found some oil on the ground. Turns out the fitting for the oil line that feeds the turbo cracked. Hopefully I can get this fixed tonight. A buddy is on his way over to see what we can do on such short notice.
Fun Fun. This hasnt been my season.

Joe, I sent you a PM. Coming from Agawam, your plan to take 190 to Stafford Springs and meet the caravan there would be a better choice for me too. Perhaps we can meet in Enfield and run to SS together? Otherwise, I can meet you/everyone in SS.

If I go straight to SS myself, what intersection/parking lot should I post myself in?

That's a good question, I haven't seen the route yet but if it goes 32 to 190 for 2000ft then 19 I know there is a quiet and decent sized parking lot on the corner of Willington Ave just after the Stafford rotary. It's a motorcycle dealer, I know the owner and it should be closed today.

There's also a gas station which might be an easier spot to facilitate, take 190 up to the rotary, right at the rotary, first or second right should be the gas station on corner of Spring St. I will check this post on my phone later this morning to see what you both decide.

Also, I don't mind playing chase car at the end of the convoy (read: slow van goes last).
