I agree. Plus, it isn't as if they're duking it out on the track for 1st and 2nd right now--it seems to be one or the other doing well. It would be great to see both Brawns going neck and neck for points, see who comes out on top.

Let's test my theory...See the link below...There are two drivers, Row 1, 4 over, and Row 6, 4 over...Let's see where they finish this week.

    yeah poor guy isn't he.

I'm going to book tickets for Brazil next year I think. Plus a 2 week holiday. Better hope I don't have a girlfriend by then. Not that she will be coming:D.

I'd still go with Rubens for the WCC. In singapore he will have advantage AGAIN (he works the tires better to higher temperatures). Japan no one will know because it might well be raining. Brazil he MAY do, last year it was cloudy and I believe the year before also...

Abu dhabi will favour Button though.

I think this championship is going to come down to an issue of reliability. Rubens and Jens are very closely matched at the moment. I think RB's experience is key, but Jenson has enough of a lead that a car failure with either one may be decisive. I hope Jenson wins, as I believe he has more raw talent, but Rubens is certainly deserving of it if he can pull it off. Interesting season...

My guess is that it's already been worked out inside the team that it will be JB's championship as long as it would not jeopardize the constructor's championship.

That's easy to counter: Simply prolong his pit stops.

While RB may be older, JB is no kid either.
IMO you can't say which would be the better choice without knowing who the #2 will be.
If Ross has a hot kid in mind Rubens might be the better mentor.
On the other hand if Rubens wins in Brasil and/or takes the title he may choose to retire.

It's getting tricky to pick now RB is coming on strong now IIRC he did that last year as well towards the end.

So I would hope to think Ross lets them battle it out to the end. I like both drivers.

RB still needs to some serious catching up though a DNF for JB would help him alot.
    1 GB J Button 80
    2 Brz R Barrichello 66

My money would be on JB to win it though.

I'd say Rubens for Singapore and Japan. he last won at Japan back in 2003 i think...

This quote was from the BBC it sort of rings true to me.

"All Jenson Button has to do to stop the erosion of his lead is beat his team-mate in one or two of the remaining races, and follow him home in the rest - the title is his to lose"

i hope rubens gets it over button, only bc rubens is winning races against better competition now that everyone else has caught up. mclaren, ferrari, force india, as well as red bull are all strong and can win on any given day.

early on it was only brawn vs red bull.

i'm still hoping vettel will win it but i'm not holding my breath.
