    I ve been looking at 355's for a little while now. While I'm certainly no expert but I was talking to someone today and he mentioned something about a correlation between header problems and later valve guide problem. Incidently why am I seeing so many cars with past header problems. Is it actually all of them eventually have this problem? Thanks

    The header problem is associated with the burning out of valves and washing of the sleeves which inturn wears out the sleeves and piston rings. I dont believe the valve guides are effected by the cracking and leaking headers. All the OEM headers will crap out if you leave the cats on. They back up too much heat and melt the headers which sooner or later crack. Extreme heating and cooling cycles do that.
