How much paint work? Was there any body damage with the work? If so, where about?

I count at least 4 times that number for Nero Daytona CS's in North America. Not sure where you got that magic "7".

This car was for sale by the same dealer, Phillips Auto, back in January 2007 and offered by them on Ebay. Mileage was 6,527, starting bid was $170,000.

    Hope this helps a bit.

    Ciao,

    Lars T.

For everyone's information, FoNE says the black CS had the hood re-painted because of rock chips, car was definitely tracked. They also have a red CS with 4K more miles, single owner sold by them, that wasn't tracked that they're asking more money for ($153K).

The Phillips CS is being re-sold by the buyer who purchased the car back in '07. Car was originally local CA car, sold to AZ, and is now coming back, no disclosed stories by the dealer. Dealer claimed the car was clean when it was sold in '07, and wasn't tracked by the new owner.

What impact does being "tracked" have on a CS? Does it matter if it was once, twice, ten times? What if it were done with OEM tires vr slicks? Is it something that needs to be disclosed or would it constitute a shady deal if it weren't?

I think it is sad that a CS that was driven for a few track weekends is considered storied.

I agree, and this wouldn't deter me, although it does seem quite common to disclose. I'd think the major concern would be with the CCB's, although a PPI would take care of this issue.

Do you think if I drove a cs TO the track, it would get devalued??

I think even if it gets within 2 miles of a track, it gets devalued. :)

+1 Agreed, Enzo has to be rolling over in his grave. Imagine buying a race car and not putting it on the track!

FYI, this happened to me on the street, not a track. Not conclusive evidence of tracking.. just evidence of having fun.

according to some....if you even sit in it, it becomes devalued.. let alone drive it...and god forbid take it too a place where it was designed to be used!!

could you imagine buying a set of golf clubs and never hittin them?? cuz they would be devalued...YIKES!!
